Join Our Team as a Trainer/Assessor in Dental Nursing!

Are you passionate about shaping the future of Dental Nursing? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Trainer/Assessor to join a highly professional team dedicated to supporting Dental Nursing apprentices.

In this role, you’ll inspire and guide apprentices to achieve success through effective training and assessment—both on campus and in the workplace. You’ll have access to up-to-date industry-standard resources and excellent teaching facilities to deliver the highest quality learning experience.

About the Role:

  • Assess candidates towards their agreed qualifications and support learners in preparing for their end point assessment.
  • Deliver training, assess, and monitor quality for the taught elements of the qualifications.
  • Monitor candidate progress through regular progression reviews and target setting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including awarding body paperwork, ensuring compliance with required procedures.
  • Attend regular programme meetings, briefing sessions, and standardisation meetings in line with curriculum policies.
  • Liaise competently and professionally with employers and customers to support meeting learner number targets.
  • Assist in the promotion and marketing of programmes within the health, social care, and dental sectors

Essential Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing with current GDC Registration
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience of delivering training and assessing in the workplace and/or an educational setting.
  • Extensive vocational experience in dental practice.
  • Experience of dealing with customers and the public.
